Castaneda Suture Tag Forceps

Smooth jaws, numbered for identification, 3-3/4" (9.5 cm) Castaneda Suture Tag Forceps may assist in the removal of sutures during general surgical procedures. During this process, the forceps can be held by one hand to elevate the tag over the suture and uncover the loop. The surgeon then uses his/her other hand to cut the suture with scissors. The jaws are smooth, straight, and numbered for identification, and the 3 ?" overall length makes it easier to maneuver.

Smooth jaw, 5-1/4" (13.5 cm) Casteneda-Mixter Clamp has smooth and curved jaws that help to occlude blood vessels that are more delicate and need a sure grip to stop the bleeding. A 5 ?" overall length is offered with looped ring-handles to allow the surgeon to easily maneuver the instrument.
