Karmody Vascular Spring Retractor is a unique implement for use in cardiothoracic surgery. The U-shaped instrument is formed in one continuous piece with two large serrated blades at each end. The spring retractor can be compressed for insertion then released to return back to its original spread formation. The main function of this instrument is to create more access to the surgical field and can be useful in a variety of surgical procedures.
