Casataneda Rib Spreader is a uniquely designed cardiothoracic instrument ideal for use in pediatric patients. This aluminum spreader has two arms which seamlessly transition into the attached blade structures. The arm and blade design on this instrument give the blades more length than traditionally thus transferring the pressure over a larger surface area and causing less deformity in smaller patients delicate structures. This instrument is available in three sizes: newborn, infant and child.
