Cooley Rib Retractor is the ideal instrument for use during cardiothoracic procedures when there is an absolute need to keep the surgical field open by spreading the ribs. These retractors are crafted from aluminum and have two arms with a lip that allows it to be inserted between the ribs and and adjustable ratchet which gives precise control of the amount of spread. This instrument is available in two sizes: adult and pediatric.
