DeBakey Multi-Purpose Peripheral Vascular Clamp is ideally crafted to be an all-purpose clamp for use during cardiothoracic surgical procedures to clamp peripheral vessels. This instrument is ideal for clamping any vessels during surgery for a number of reasons one of the most important being to occlude blood flow through vessels to prevent the patient from losing an excessive amount of blood. The slight angle of the blade allows the instrument handle to be slightly out of the surgical field so as to keep that as clear as possible for increased visibility.
