Haight-Finochietto Pediatric Rib Spreader is designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is best used when more access is needed below the ribs and functions to create and maintain adequate access to the surgical field. This rib spreader has two arms, one of which can be adjusted to create the best fitting spread distance, as well as windowed blades to maintain uniform pressure over a larger surface area to reduce strain on the patient.
