7-3/4″ (19.8 cm), heavy pattern, strongly curved jaws

Olivecrona Rongeur is an instrument designed to be used to scoop out and gnaw away at bony segments in a variety of surgical procedures. The jaws of this instrument features a scoop type profile that allows them to be used in enlarge holes in bone or other hard tissue or be used to grasp and cut small bony pieces. This particular piece is made of a heavy pattern and features strongly curved jaws that allows it to be used to handle very strong tissue areas.
