Castroviejo Micro Needle Holder is crafted for use in cardiothoracic surgeries, specifically micro surgeries that require fine and precise manipulation of a needle with 5-0 and 6-0 sutures. This instrument features a round handle for increased comfort in gripping as well as jaw surfaces impregnated with fine tungsten carbide dust further reinforcing the strength of the jaws without adding bulk. These needle holders are available in either a straight or curved profile and with or without a lock making it well suited to a number of different preferences and procedures.
