The scissors may be used for manipulating and incising tissue in an iridectomy or iridotomy. The spring loaded design with widely spaced handle gives the surgeon optimal control during the procedure, while the micro pattern affords the surgeon maximal precision. In addition, the curved sharp tip aids in dissection while accommodating to the patient’s natural curvature.
