double-action, 6″ (15.0 cm)Kleinert-Kutz Synovectomy Rongeur is ideally suited for use in orthopedic surgeries. Specifically it is designed for synovectomies, which are procedures in which the synovial membrane is removed form a synovial joint. This can be used in treatment of conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. This rongeur is double-action and features a curvature that allows it to mirror the roundedness of a joint and effectively grasp the synovioum without causing ripping or tearing.
