In Situ Valve Scissors are designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. These scissors can be used during exploration of the heart and valve because they feature a blunt tip which prevents unnecessary damage to surrounding tissues as well as to the walls of the vessel in which the valve is present. Additionally, this scissor has one serrated blade that ensures the tissue to be cut remains adequately gripped to prevent movement and subsequent tearing while cutting.
