Deep Arteriotomy Spring Retractor

Deep Arteriotomy Spring Retractor is commonly used in cardiothoracic surgery. It is formed from one piece that is looped into a U-shape with one large loop at the base of the U and one each along each arm. Each arm ends in two slightly curved flag shaped serrated blades. This instrument is also polished to a dull, satin finish to reduce glare under operating room lights.
