Sternal Needle Holder & Wire Twister

tungsten carbide inserts, 7″ (17.8 cm) Sternal Needle Holder and Wire Twister is a multi purpose instrument that can be used in a variety of surgical procedures. Not only is this instrument designed for handling wire and twisting it into place such as in stabilization of graft placement but the same jaws make it well suited for handling a needle. This can be useful in suturing and other manipulations requiring the use of a needle. The tungsten carbide inserts give this instrument strength while the ring handle design allows for ease in manual operation and manipulation.
