Cooley Caval Occlusion Forceps are specially designed vascular clamps for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is designed with ring handles for ease in maneuvering and opening and closing and also a ratcheting mechanism to hold the forceps at a particular tightness. The most unique feature of these forceps is that each jaw features a half circle projection outwards which when the jaw is brought together forms a complete circular opening as well as the fact that the entire instrument is formed in a crescent type shape. This instrument is available with a number of different diameters to the opening in the jaws in 2 fr. Increments from 24 ? 40 fr.
